Apr 24 @ 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm

Age 10 and under

Mini Tennis Orange is a great way for players to continue their progress from Mini Tennis Red and is for players aged 8 and 9.  Players who progress from red will continue to do some ABCs (agility, balance and co-ordination) to a more advanced level. They will take their learned tennis skills onto the bigger orange court and improve them and widen the range of shots. Players who begin in orange will initially do lots of ABCs and will learn a little of all the shots to help them to serve, rally and score straightaway; then gradually improve their technique.

Mini Tennis Green is for players who are progressing from Orange and will simply adapt their learned skills to the faster ball and bigger court. Initially they may find this difficult and rallies will be shorter for a while. There will be some time spent on practising ABCs (agility, balance and co-ordination) which will still help them at this age.

Apr 24 @ 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Age: 5 -7 yrs

Details: We aim to help your child develop the fundamental movements and skills that are needed for the future as well as now. The fundamentals are called ABC’s- agility, balance and co-ordination. They are hugely important and are best learned when children are under 10’. They will develop basic tennis skills and by the end of the red they can usually play a short match.

Mini Tennis Red is for players aged 8 and under. It is played on small courts with short rackets and soft balls. It’s just like the real game and gives players opportunities to have long rallies and play different types of shots.
